APT
(Application Productivity Tool) software
makes large process control systems maintainable through use
of SFC and CFC structures. Complex math functions
are made a snap by direct editing of code in SFC steps or
CFB's.
The
505 system communicates with remote or distributed I/O racks
(bases) using a 1 Mbps coaxial or twisted-pair cable. As a
result, I/O racks (bases) can be located up to 15,000 ft.
from the controller, eliminating the need for multiple cable
runs and reducing installation costs.
